What is Net Promoter Score?
Net Promoter Score (NPS) works by gauging customer loyalty through a single question survey, measuring the likelihood of a customer recommending a company’s products or services. Respondents rate their likelihood on an 11-point scale, from 0 to 10, and are categorized into Promoters (9-10), Passives (7-8), and Detractors (0-6). The NPS is calculated by subtracting the percentage of Detractors from the percentage of Promoters, resulting in a score between -100 and +100.
