What is trim?

Trim refers to the finishing materials used to enclose, protect, or decorate the edges and openings of various components within a building. It typically consists of narrow strips of wood, metal, plastic, or other materials and is installed along walls, around windows and doors, and at the base of cabinets or flooring.

Trim serves both functional and aesthetic purposes, enhancing the appearance of a space while concealing gaps, protecting surfaces from damage, and providing transitions between different materials.
