What is a pallet?

A pallet is a flat, portable platform used to support and transport goods and materials. Pallets are typically made of wood, but they can also be constructed from plastic, metal, or other materials.

They are designed with a bottom deck and several stringers that support the deck and allow for easy lifting and handling by forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes.
