With over 245,000 miles of road in Great Britain, there’s a fair bit of repair, replacement and updating throughout the road network. As well as carriageway maintenance and construction many excavations are required for the installation of signage, lamposts and other street furniture. Each and every time this happens, any contractor must obtain the underground utility plans before any excavations can start.
Cornerstone Projects have worked on highways projects since 2007 and are well versed in coping with the specific needs and requirements of highways works; we currently produce plans for over 200km a month for our highways customers.

“The headache has gone away for the team. We can depend on a much quicker response with a comprehensive report delivered. The team can focus in other areas which inevitably shortens final programme delivery.”
– Darrel Holt, Principal Engineer – Highways, Amey
“We wanted to work with a supplier who could deliver stats searches on time and cost effectively. We think we have done that with Cornerstone Projects.”
– Richard Hancox, Network Manager, Kier Strategic Highways
